And so it begins...

Hey there! My name's Charlie Saxton. I'm professional actor currently living in LA, trying to make it big in the movie biz. The other day I came to the harsh realization that I have very predictable taste in movies. Sure, "Pulp Fiction" is amazing, and everyone knows that every John Hughes project is a classic, but I've never had the cajones to tell people that I've never seen "Star Wars", "Lawrence of Arabia", and "Raging Bull".

Whenever I work on a film set of any kind, I'm constantly living this lie that I have an actor's 101 knowledge of movies. For instance: When a director/producer/craft service chef makes a reference to "Sunset Blvd.", I have to nod, chuckle, and mutter something inaudible under my breath that could sound like I understood what was said.

I'm tired of doing that.

Finally, I thought to myself, "Self, just exactly how many classic movies have you never seen?" And after heading over to the American Film Institutes' List of Top 100 Movies, the number was more than embarrassing. Mid to high 80's. My mother raised me better than that.

That's where this little blog comes in.

This little blog right here is somewhat of a bucket list for the movies that I've seen/heard references to since I was a baby boy, but have never actually seen.

So, armed with a Netflix account, and a shit-ton of free time, I'm ready to take on this personal mission.
